How to use an exhaust brake or brake shop

It is a method of braking by closing the pipe that releases exhaust gas. The engine will be hold back and move slowly to protect the truck while driving on sloped areas such as driving down a long way hill

How to use:

To use the brake shop, pull the switch lever towards you. The brake warning light will show up and to unlock the brake shop, you have to step on the speed pedal or clutch pedal. Releasing pedal will let brake shop work again. The speed of the truck will be at 5 km/h or less.
